Annual Luncheon, Scores for Scholars Sale and Meeting
Our 2026 luncheon took place on June 10th at Drumlins Country Club.
Our annual luncheon meeting was held every June and was our last meeting of the year. Besides enjoying a wonderful meal, members had the opportunity to renew their membership, sign-up for next year’s events, offer suggestions for the future and purchase music through our Scores for Scholars used music sale. There was a display of the year’s events including pictures, programs, and informational packets. Tickets were purchased for many raffle baskets. The proceeds for the raffle and Scores for Scholars go to our scholarship program. The luncheon is free for members.
West Genesee String Quartet
Emilia Kamnev, 9 years old, began her piano lessons at the age of 5, with Dr. Elena Nezhdanova. Locally, Emilia has performed in many CNYAMT outreach events/concerts and received a perfect score at NYSSMA Spring Evaluation of 2026. Emilia participated twice at the Carmel Klavier International Piano Competition in Carmel, IN, where she was awarded 3rd prize and Honorable Mention. She received high honors at the CNYAMT Baroque, Classical and Sonatina Festival and the CNYAMT Advanced Piano Competition - 2024/2025. In 2024, Elia was invited to participate in the Piano Star International Competition, where she received 2nd prize, continual to the finals. She was invited to perform at the Winners Recital at Weilll Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in May of 2025. Currently, Emilia is preparing for her first solo and concerto competitions as pare of the BMTG 8th Intercontinental Music Festival in NYC.
